Where to buy up't North
Discussion
Just wondering if anyone has any experience of dealers in Yorkshire. I.E has anyone bought vehicles from Harrogate HC or Sport and Specialist cars at Boroughbridge. Any good / bad issues with them??
Your help would be appreciated as i am looking for a cerb when the re-mortgage
comes through. Theres also a nice yellow cerb at boroughbridge - does anyone on here know anything about it???
Also what are the warranties these dealers offer like???

Have owned 6 TVRs 2 bought from Harrogate (When they were the nearest dealer) and 4 from Hexham.Always had good service from both of them spanning a period of 20 years.Probably get shot down for this but would recommend staying within the TVR network.Cerberas need to be spot on or they can be very expensive.

I went across to H L Gorner in Wigan, personally I found that they had a much greater interest in customer care and wanted to help me find the right car without 'selling' one to me. I was allowed to take time to test drive, firstly accompanied then alone.
My local dealer (look at my profile, you'll work out who) seemed reluctant to sell me anyting, almost as if it was an interuption to their day. I also found their pricing structure very rigid!
Others will tell you their perspective, I'm sure there are some good experiences out there.

Morning
I bought my chim from HHC, found them to be ok. The pricing structure is rigid, i.e. you get no discount
The way I got around this was to get extras done; full leven kit to cockpit, full 36K service, 2 tyres, replace brake disc's. It would have prob cost me at least £2K if I were paying for it myself.
There were a few probs with the car soon after I got it and HHC were very reasonable about it.
Best of luck with the search

Used HexhamHC for my servicing and just bought another Cerbera off them.
Excellent customer care and very friendly.
P.S. Tony, any chance of a discount on that alloy handbrake for the plug?

Dave - Joolz hasn't replied yet!!! But the yellow one does look nice - however did kick black smoke out when he first kicked it up ( see my earlier post ) !!! so just wanting to know what its really like. Cos i'm sure the dealer would say its fine!!! I'll let you know when joolz gets back to me!!!
Rob,
I am also from Yorkshire, but looked all over the UK for my Cerb. Mine was eventually sourced by James Agger and it was easily the best example of all the ones I went to view. Do a search and then have a look at his website (pending Joolz feedback on the yellow one), it's very informative and has a few Cerberas for sale. James is also very pleasent to deal with, which makes a change from the usual pushy salesmen. It's a worthwhile alternative to Garages.
