At Mole valley for look yesterday - Nice Light blue 01 Cerb. SO a good 2YEARS OLD with only 2000 miles on it - What kind of IDIOT buys one of these and then does not drive it! Stupid price of course - "They don't get that many miles on them - they are basically a Race Engine" - GET A LIFE - needs a bloody thrashing - and the CAR! - You have to wonder if it was even that well taken care of if the owner couldn't even be arsed to drive it...............

Went to look at that one myself today. I did wonder what problems you might encounter in the future because its sat around for so long

Did Mole Valley say that?
Shame on them if they did!

I think there's a balance to be achieved but 1000 miles a year is ludicrously low. There must be some explanation for it...

It makes me sick knowing that this beautiful piece of machinery has been neglected.

I seriously thought about keeping the mileage down when I first bought my baby 10 months ago then I took my serious hat off and started enjoying life

Whoever buys this motor, I beg you, on a regular basis, give her what she deserves!!

It may be that the owner bought it and then changed jobs and spends a lot of time abroad.

We have loads of peeps in Mid Essex that work overseas and can't wait to get back to 'air' their TVRs!!

I only say this cos one of our guys has just changed to another company and we won't be seeing that much of him now....

Exactly - 1k per year is a good thing....

"We Only deal in LOW mileage TVRs" (turning up in my 21year old Polo was laugh though) - iy's not like the old Rover lump! (implying milage is a very bad thing!)
- Burk...... Billet crank, forged rods and piston on an AJP all of which a Rover doesn't have.

I wouldn't buy it for 38 someting - the tosser who owned it for thos 2.5 years should be shot. Maybe could afford car but not the servicing! - Muppet either may - when I get my 00 or 01 as planned in March - May time it will be well serviced my a specialist and once warmed through will be given some large when the opertunity presents itself..........

Tbloke99 & Big T.

Leaving the Cerbera fold after only 18 months and one
year respectfully?

Are you staying with TVR at the very least?

Don't worry chap, how could I buy anything other than TVR???

If you look at my profile you will notice a TVR called the SAGARIS is currently on order.

It will either be a SAGARIS or a new 4.5 RR with a massive spec

Phew - sorry I missed that with the late night eyes on.

Out of interest, what order number are you and when
do they project a delivery?

Personally not convinced about the Sagaris, but seems
most have been converted when they've viewed it up
close and I've yet to be able to do that.

It looked meaner than hell when Amanda Stretton drove it on for it unvailing at MPH 03 last month - not sure it will suit all ex Cerb drives - MUCH Smaller - Great all the same....

Graham, I think I’m number 20 but not 100% sure and I think a projected delivery date will be towards the end of the year, if things go well with the builds, touch wood.

I'm still waiting to see the final spec first before committing fully so there’s still the option of going for a new V8 monster!!

Whatever I get next, it’s gonna be one special bit of kit

A little late on this thread and in defence of original owner only doing 2000 miles in two years - Now then....speed 6, only 2000 miles in 2 years...maybe blackpool engine rebuilds partly to blame????? Mind you, havent had much use out of my v8 recently. Head gasket and a successsion of starter motors means I have only done about 500 miles in the last 4 months.

No, Topcats sorted that. But from what I hear about most of the speed 6 issues they were blackpool jobs.
