Well a years flown by since i bought my 4.5 from James Agger (thats a plug for you James) and the only prob,s and additions i,ve had are as follows
1 Starter motor (replaced by A.P.M. under W.H.warranty)
2 Intermitent prob with headlight dipping (cotrol box terminals melted)
3 2x 265x17 40s Toyos on the rear
4 Green air filters and cat by-pass pipes (from Joolz)
+ loads of Optimax and obviously tax ,insurance(£600.00 Direct line)and the M.o.t yesterday.
just over 3,500 miles covered so I think you will all agree exellent value for money.
I still get that strange cerb feeling when i look or drive Her!!!!!!
P.s Called in to Racing Green yesterday the Sagy arse did nothing for me but the TYPHON yes please, If it wasn,t for the fact this year that I have my 25TH wedding aniversary (i know i would have got less for a double murder)
My big 50 oooooh birf day.
My daughters 21 st.
And to top it all off her wedding in the Dominican republic with 80 yes 80 family and freinds attending.
I think the typhon will have to wait incidently ??? why is it £25,000 or 50% more than the Sagy-arse.

I'm with you Ron. I've had my Cerb for 15 months....Only 2 problems. 1 was failed Starter Motor, the other the wiring on drivers door internal switch. Other than that only costs have been servicing & they were kept 'low' by taking it to Austec. I did close to 6,000 miles in my 1st 12 months & enjoyed every single 1!

Had mine for almost a year. Slightly more expenditure than you guys, but I still love it!!
Bits I've had to fix are:
- Throttle cable
- Throttle switches (x 2)
- brake pads front and rear
- new clutch, slave cylinder seals
- various electric gremlins (windows, heated rear screen, indicators, etc)
- bodywork (Wife. Parking. Ouch!)
- new cats
- steering column UJ
- 100amp fuse
Bits I've spent money on by choise:
- Nitrons and new springs
- Lots of tyres
- Optimax!!
Best year's motoring ever!
cheers

I won't bother putting the details up here but I've been keeping things updated on my profile if anybody is interested. Not had it a year but the miles a racking up and hopefully planning a 3000 mile trip to Italy, Sardinia and Corsica sometime in the summer. Better start looking at the spares list just in case.
All I need up there is a photo now.

Okay here goes! 18 months:
magnecor leads
coil
throttle cable
water temp sensor
full samco hose set
full factory engine rebuild - block, crank, pistons, liners, 4.5 cams, headgaskets etc etc.
2000 rear lights from factory
stainless kickplates
leven handbrake
new clutch, flywheel, slave clynder, bellhousing
steering wheel & drivers seat bolster refurb
2 lambadas
2 throttle pots
12 service ( inc tappets).
phew!
The car also had tuscan disc & caliper upgrade the week before i got it.
I'd rather not think about the cost!
Note that some of the above work was done because i am a fussy bastard. (engine excluded!)
Darren.
