Can't fit my car in the garage so leave it on the drive and due to all this rain I've found a swimming pool in the drivers footwell this morning. I've ordered a car cover, cause I've not got time to find out where the leaks coming from, suspect the windows as the door lining is wet, but I need to dry out the carpets. Anyone ever bought a portable heater that will fit in the drivers footwell?

cheers

IMO a heater is the wrong thing to use as the moisture will just condensate and cause more problems....get yourself a dehumidifier as this will remove the moisture into a collection jar/bucket, but you will have to remove as much water using a sponge and newspaper as well....

Used a small portable fan heater to dry mine out when I had a leak. Left the door open to allow air to circulate and moved the fan heater every 20 mins or so.
Had it on a moderate heat rather than full blast.

If you do go the heater route, be very careful. I did this years ago on another car and accidentally melted a bunch of stuff
