I drove all night......new car
Discussion
Apologies for the lateness, but I picked up my Cerbera from Hexham H.C. on Saturday and I've been driving it ever since - hence no time to post this until now.
First impressions is;
no difference to the 4.5 at all - if anything, maybe a little easier to drive at low speeds. The 18" spiders make a big difference to the turning circle - must remember that after trying to negotiate the MetroCenter car park (multi-story to get the full benefit of the sports exhaust).
Unfortunately, it's broken already - it's not popping and banging loud enough. I don't know why, but the 4.5 was a better popper, but it'll get sorted in time.
I suppose you want to see a piccie?
ok
Going to rest my sore right leg now after many depresses of the loud peddle.

Great looking car, looks even nicer in the flesh. I was dropping mine off for some work on Saturday but didn't get a chance to say hello (you were in the office probably handing over a bucket of cash
).
Sounded loud enough when you started it has it still got cats or is it a sports exhaust?
Part of the reason I didn't go for the 18s was the turning circle. I can just get it onto the drive in one go with the 17s on. Pity though, they would have looked lovely in anthracite.

I hope it's still got cats where they belong, as I didn't get any in the boot
I noticed your car in the car park when we went in - but didn't see anyone hanging around otherwise would have had a chat.

Yep its your old Cerb. Saw you coming off the A69 as I was leaving, didn't wave or flash as you would probably said who's that loon in the Saxo
Should have waved I haved learned just to wave back. If you need to know anything about the car just get in touch.No horror stories while I had it just a lovely car but wanted something without a roof.
Paul,
Saw the history file on it at HHC and it looked like if anything needed doing it had been done. The interior was one of the best looked after I had seen. I had been looking for a more classic exterior colour (black, silver, gts blue or rosso) but saw it a couple of times and thought what the hell, go for it
.
Unfortunately it looks like I've got a leaking clutch slave cylinder, which is why I was dropping it off. I was very depressed on Saturday when I left it
When I was buying it Tony used your Chim as an example of anthracite wheels an head light conversion work (it had just been sprayed). Did you go for the light covers? Can't really tell from th pic on your profile.

Hi Neil
still waiting for the light covers,apparently Clive from Zertec is in Ethiopia at the moment!!!!! Re interior of the car Instrument binnacle was retrimmed by the factory as the previous owner had had stuck a radar detector to it.Also driver seat went back to the factory in 2000 to have the bolster retrimmed.Have fun, think its possibly one of the loudest cerberas ever ( and I am not talking about the colour}
