New(ish) Cerbera Owner
Discussion
I'm new to TVR, and have owned a Cerbera since October. Its a beast, makes me grin everytime. Its nice to be driving such an awesome sounding v8, rather than listening to one drive by with envy.
Are there any local meets, clubs, runs local to me? I live in Handcross, West Sussex (near Haywards Heath)
regards
Peter

Congrats on the purchase
If you haven't already, join the TVRCC - its monthly magazine "Sprint" has all sorts of contact info for regional meetings and things like that.
The rabble here are not official members necessarily but there are often ad hoc meets arranged etc so I'm sure someone will reply with the info near you.

I'm in Ardingly. Look out for an ice blue 4.2 trundling around.
You may have seen it on a flat bed heading towards Austec yesterday with a knackered gearbox
What the hell's going on???? Is there a single TVR out there that hasn't either broken down, been in an accident, or been sold this weekend?
Austec say it's probably the clutch - which is a bit of a shocker since it was replaced less than 2 yrs ago and has less than 10,000 miles under its belt.
Anyone think 10,000 miles for a clutch is a bit shabby?
This is the only problem I've had since buying it 7 months ago so I suppose I musn't grumble

All depends how hard it has been driven (by preivous owners of course
). I think normally you'd hope for 20K from a clutch. It is a sports car after all.Message Board | Cerbera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
