Has anyone thought about getting these made or they available for fitting?

There's a cover for the headlight upgrades there, but nothing for the standard one. Wonder if any of the Elise S1 cover manufacturers could do a Cerb one...

It's one of the things I'd be interested in. I prefer the look of the standard headlights to the speed six upgrade, but they do look a bit jarring at certain angles and I'm sure the shape is slowing me down

The ones in those pics are for the widened racing wings, so they wouldn't fit a normal cerb.

I want that bonnet! [Stomps feet]

Motobuild used to sell the Elise covers when I had one, might be worth finding out who manufactures them? (Could just be a standard Lotus part, though)...

The standard lights arent any good any way...so why would you want to make them worse by sticking smoked perspex over them??

One other thing worth pointing out... I had the lens covers on my Elise, and as much as they improved the appearance, they were a bit of a pain. General reports were about 5% drop in lighting, but worse than that... Just a 1mm gap in the seals and you get water in hence muck, grit, condensation, etc. A good seal on them was pretty tough to get too; mine were factory fitted and still leaked.

Mmmm, maybe combined with an HID conversion this would help?

Unless they put out a great deal of additional heat as well as light, I think it'll still look like the car's headlamps magically weep!
