My tail's popped out....

I drove back from Germany last wednesday without any problems what so ever until I was about a mile from my front door....

Minding my own business pootling along in the traffic I suddenly hear what sounds like some crazy ar$ed car that couldn't be too far away....

Couldn't see it for dust but could hear it close by and it followed me round a couple of bends....

Turns out it was me all along and that one of my tail pipes had decided to pop out!!!

....does anybody who has had sports pipes fitted still have there standard back box and if so would they consider parting with it ???

I had my sports pipes put on over the summer at Chris Neil's, replacing the very-nearly-new standard exhaust. I imagine they've already "dealt with it", but on the offchance it's been left lying around there, feel free to give them a call & have it for free.

Just had sports pipes fitted so have the standard backbox available (cerb 4.5). Its only 9 months old so is in perfect condition.

Mine is a 4.2, are the zorsts the same on both models ??

That was my first thought....

I remember exactly where I heard the exhaust note change for the worse and spent about half an hour looking for the pipe but couldn't find it.

Where its gone is anybodys guess!!!

As far as Im aware they are identical but it may be worth a check with someone in the know first!!

Well I was back in the UK over the weekend and guess what....

The other tail pipe fell off so now the car is even noisier!!!!

Matt, where abouts are you ?? I haven't had a chance to find out if both rear boxes are the same as yet....

Looks like I'm gonna be going to Virginia Waters as the only Cerb without any tailpipes!!!!
I love the deep grumbly noise it makes, can I leave it like that!!!
