What Colour

Right good people, the time has come to paint my car but what colour to go for, the car is red at the moment so thinking of keeping red based but what?

I like the look of Mazda Soul Red Crystal Metallic and Ford Black Cherry, any othe suggested options?

A lot of these latest colours, especially the reds, are translucent and the shade depends on the number and depth of coats applied. Easy to achieve consistent results when applied by robots under controlled factory conditions, not so much by human hand. And a royal nightmare to match thereafter. Allegedly.

Mazda Soul red is lovely, we have our mazda 6 in it and I almost painted my car that colour, would have been a lot cheaper than Rosso Pearl, but I decided to keep the original colour

What is the difference between the two? Is is noticeable in isolation even if you do know?
