Hello,

A week ago one of my mates drove the car my car onto the kerb which broke the arm and stabiliser link. Got those two replaced by a local mechanic, however, had to replace the wheel recently and AA found that the engine bed was bent. They didn't quite say it needs to be scrapped but also didn't confirm if it is safe to drive around.

Looking for some advice, thanks.

It's the suspension cradle.....

And they've probably been levering something while working, and done it badly.

Not really of huge concern, but also no real call for them having done that

As above, it was probably done when removing the old one to replace it.

Clearly the job was done by an Orangutan!

If it concerns you give it a couple of whacks with a hammer to get it back straighter, but no real problem.
