Exhaust Sealant -removal to make it safe for O2 sensors& CAT

Hello

So some numpty went and used exhaust sealant all over the CAT (Catalytic converter) and on some of the parts that are upstream of the CAT.

What is the best way to remove this sealant to make it safe for the CAT and O2 sensors?

What do you mean by "all over the cat"?

The first step would be to scrape it off mechanically.
But this will not remove 100% of the sealant.
