Help in Manchester

I have a Volvo T8 that I bought 2 weeks ago, the hybrid system doesn’t work and it seems to be an ERAD issue the problem is I need to find somewhere that is capable of diagnosing this issue so I can get it returned otherwise it’s my work against the dealer I bought from. If anyone knows of a hybrid garage or Volvo specialist that could diagnose this issue please help. Thank you

After reading your other thread which sets out the issue, I think you really need to put your hand in your pocket and go to a main Volvo agent. If it goes legal then a report from a Volvo dealer will have more clout than one from a random garage - all in my opinion of course. Good luck, I hope you get it sorted.

This will be a massive problem in the future the more of these electric and hybrid vehicles are out there.

Perhaps nice when new, with warranty....a few years down the line with neither....no thanks.

Hi this was as still is the plan the issue wasn’t the money it was the time scale my local Volvo dealer earliest they could get me in was 3rd of march then the next closest was Bolton they were the 17th of February all too late for the 30 day warranty. So I’ve gone with Sheffield not convenient but at least it’s Volvo thanks

The only reason I went for hybrid was the fact my partner the main driver of the car doesn’t do motorway driving, so diesel wasn’t an option had a diesel and had nothing but dtf and glow plug problems. May have to be just straight petrol but not looking forward to those fuel bills.

It’s a shame because T8 performance figures appeal to the old petrol head in me

No idea if they are able to assist, but I used these guys to service a few Volvo’s I had. Seemed very knowledgeable in all things Volvo and was very happy with their service.
