Petrol injector removal

No but have you considered a slide hammer or a puller?
Yes I have, I have used one which is not working. It's a Jaguar f type V6 that has the notorious stuck injector.Noticed that the pneumatic system makes light work of deisel injectors. So I am thinking there must be some way of using one for petrol injectors

I understand I may not get an answer anytime soon, due to minimum traffic in this section. But here goes.
Has any one used a pneumatic injector tool to remove a petrol injector. They are popular to use on deisel injectors. But anyone use one on petrol injectors.
Just a regular injector ? or direct injection stuff ?Has any one used a pneumatic injector tool to remove a petrol injector. They are popular to use on deisel injectors. But anyone use one on petrol injectors.

Would this puller work? Not sure about your engine but on the Jag AJ133 you remove the fuel rail then attach this:
That original one I have been using. There is not enough clout to get the direct injection injector out. Basically the recommended jaguar tool is crap. I will certainly look into that device he is using. Thank you. However looking at the limited space in the f type, It may not work. I had a 4.2 xkr for 10 years, now I have had this f type for 7 months. Not a moments trouble with the xkr, but that was not a direct injection.
The f type V6 and V8s are known for crappy injectors being a pig to remove when they go wrong.

I have actually Orderd one of these, it looks exactly like what u need. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I have watched both videos on this puller. Well funnily enough, I received it today.
After all the build up that finally a good tool to remove the dam injector. It kept slipping of the injector, and when it was starting to get a little under load the ba5tard pin holding the Jaws break
I'm so pissed off with the whole bloody thing. Two weeks I have been trying to remove the dam injector and I really thought this was the tool I have been looking for.
Looks like I will have to call in the injector removal guy from up north. Not very happy.
But thank you for the link my friend.

Just an update for anyone interested. So none of the injector tools worked. So I got a company that does mobile injector and flow plug removal to travel to me at great expense. So I was thinking they would be using pneumatic extractor, how wrong was I. They used a slide hammer and drill and absolutely butchered the job leaving parts still stuck in the head. Then just cleared off
So the job I was trying to avoid has to be done. Head removal and replace all 3 injectors in the head while it's off.
So a simple injector swap has come to this because it won't come out.
Such a poor design which is shared with both jaguar and range rover.
