What's normal temp for monaro water gauge?

My ls2 vxr engine water temp gauge sits between a quarter and a third on the gauge. Usually cars sit about half way. Can anyone confirm if this is normal for an LS2?

My ls1 is the same. Think it's usual Monaro fare for the temp gauge to sit at that level

the gauge does not actually read temperature properly , go into the maintenance menu , from memory around 205 degrees f

You can make it read correct on clustermod

Should sit on 3/8, that is set to cover the 'normal operating range' by GM

But if needle has been played with or anything, could sit slightly off. Basically, wherever it sits, that's normal, if it goes above, it's getting pretty hot
