Probably not the reason most of us buy a Monaro, but this report (courtesy of my son who found it) shows the Ro is a very safe car - unless you’re a pedestrian!

That's good to know, I always thought the Monaro would have a poor safety score since it's such an old design. Mind you I really don't want to put it to the test.

A good find. And good to know. Really don't want to crash my Ro though. Be gutted!
Always thought these cars felt pretty strong, the chassis seems pretty rigid too. Don't really notice any flex and I have with plenty of other cars.

All the more reason for a proper exhaust so pedestrians are more likely to notice a car approaching...
