I only had on on mine, so after a respray, I kept it and stuck in on to the cover for my replacement head unit.
However, it appears to be directly under the side repeaters, with a gap that looks about half the height of the badge itself. I thought a quick google would gave me a nice clear side photo somewhere but it does look like most don't have the badges at all, so this may well have been something that Vauxhall put on UK cars only. I dare say someone with better memory will be along shortly to correct me.

Yep, only Vauxhall had V8 badges. I ve never seen a factory Holden Monaro or even a Pontiac GTO with them applied.
