Almost oops...

Put the car through the car wash (bad I know) but with the amount of grime on it I had no choice.

Pulled out driving towards the road and hit the brakes, just stopped before the road with full ABS going on. Guess the water really gets to the brakes in a car wash.

Is it just me or do we all get this? Going to be a bit more careful in future - wuld have taken some explainig (only doing 10mph too).

Dont most car washes have a sign mentioning about the brakes after a wash ??

Its been a long time since I put any car that Ive owned through a car wash ( and it was only my scrappy volvo ), but Im sure there was a sign about testing your brakes.
I'd never put a car I liked through a car wash though.

"Full ABS" Wouldn't that mean the brakes were doing their job but it was the tyres that were not gripping? Maybe all that nice slippery soap suds don't do much for the grip

Put mine through a car wash in Le Mans earlier in the year and it tore off my boot spoiler! Caspy's gang painted and fit a new one, but boy was it expensive (not blaming Caspy, just GM for the cost for parts!).

Not meaning to be 'orrible but washing a car at Le mans !!!!! Whats wrong with you man, Wear your dust with pride. (can't wait till this year now we have Christmas out of the way)
