has anyone seen/driven the Monaro(i think it's Vaxhaull
over there.What do you think? good ,bad.

Driven a couple now, came very close to buying one, but engine is strangled by induction system and exhaust. Great big V8 and you can't hear it! Drives and handles OK, plenty of torque, but nothing really special. Looks rather bland, like a blown up Calibra. Plenty of space inside, front seats will go so far back you cannot reach the pedals.
In summary great idea but execution seems flawed.

was pursued by a yellow one yesterday on the M1, wasn't really up for playing but sat in convoy with him for a bit. Nice car I thought, not particularly dramatic though - thought it would look / sound a bit more hardcore..

I'm not spending near 30 grand on a vauxhall. It will depreciate like a lead ballon. Now a second hand GTS or Maloo.......MMMMMMM!

I first saw one at the 02 motor show at the nec, it was still badged as a Holden. Vx were showing it to gauge public opinion, I was very interested but in the mean time I saw sense and bought a TVR
