Anyone have experience of buying Pontiac GTO parts from Rock Auto?

Prices seem ridiculously cheap. Ie discs, shocks, springs etc

Also don't suppose anyone has nearside engine cover kicking around? 05CV8 Small boot

Any help appreciated as usual

Not that car, but I've bought various parts from them. Generally good price & good service.
Make sure to choose the brand of part you want.

I bought genuine Bosch injectors from them for my Commodore.

Arrived within a week, and were cheaper than anything I could find listed here in Australia.

Yes, I've bought a good few bits n pieces for my Monaro from there. Excellent service, rapid delivery.
Not sure what the current crack is though, I was told they are not currently shipping to the UK, hoping I am misinformed!

Great service from rockauto but make sure you check your buying the right parts as American gtos have different specs like poverty spec brakes best to cross reference part numbers where possible. Also due to trump tariffs not all parts can be shipped to the UK ie if you order a wheel bearing that contains Russian steel they won't ship it but order a different brand made in the USA they'll ship it.

As said above shipping things to the UK is difficult with them at the moment, it is not just if they contain Russian steel it is if they may contain it!

Apparently the manufactures have sent them information to prove otherwise but Rock Auto haven't updated anything - this is if internet information is to be believed.

I purchase quite a few bits from them but now have to have them shipped to a US address and get them forwarded on from there!

I've bought quite a lot from them recently in various orders - air con bits, brake bits and various other random bits. The price you see on the website doesn't include duty which gets added at checkout, and you sometimes have to play around with which brand of an item you buy to not get stung by postage. Parts can come from different warehouses, but change brand that comes from the same warehouse as something else you've ordered and the postage costs plummet.

But everything turned up with FedEx with nothing extra to pay, and all arrived within a few days which I was impressed with.

Yes this is true, although I tend to be driven primarily by the brand and prioritise quality over cheap shipping.

I've managed to work around the Russian steel issue too - I can't remember exact steps, but I just frigged around with adding and removing bits from the trolly and managed to get it to take my order in the end.
