Hello All

I am attending my first meet at the Ace Cafe in January
Arrgggg!
What am I letting myself in for?
Could somebody please tell me what to expect? Before I suddenly decide there are loads of other things I need to do on that day!!!

Oh, and if its not raining it will probably be very cold, rather better than rain though! Burnouts won't be so impressive if its wet

Dianne,

Don't worry, most of the MRS's seem to get along fine: chatting about how sad their men-folk are; supping coffee by the bucket-load; and listening to how much we are all ..going to spend/have spent.. on shiny new bits.

But Caspy's right! Most of the women-folk think it's as boring as sh*te......

Don't be put off, cause you'll never know till you go, and it would be good to meet you though!!! (Interested in what kind of woman could put up with Will!)

Cheers

Eric, Pauline and Wee Tom.

Thanks for all the replies, its great to get the feedback! Positive and negative!!! (Where would the world be without negative feedback)

As I'm a law unto myself (haha!), I can probably cope

- love getting up in the middle of the night and certainly wont be able to sleep in the car en route, the maniac will be driving after all and making sure I stay awake
- standing around in the rain eating dodgy burgers and drinking cold coffee is also my idea of fun

Seriously, look forward to meeting you all, and having a 'sh*te' day out

Geez caspy... wouldn't like to be you at a feminist society meeting... you would be the sacrafice.

Maybe the same time that we hold these meets, we also have something that the girls are into as well. Haven't had time for any skirt lately, so not sure what the lastest crazes are. Generally in portsmouth pretty simple....anything that contains alcohol.

Which actually gives an idea.... and Australian wine tasting day.

Mrs HSV what are you into?

Just been out collecting firewood for the sacrificial offering to the Womens Feminist Society gathering!!! Possibly to be held after the Australian wine tasting!!

Will has asked if Tanya would like to join in!

I guess something to interest the ladies is a good idea, but as a newcomer I wouldnt dream of putting in my opinions on that score. Maybe a day just for ladies. I'll shut up now, for fear of getting thrown off by the moderator

Mrs HSV hasnt been out drinking in Portsmouth yet, so not aware of the local rep., my passion is travel and of course Will's HSV (thats enough creeping for one day)

yeah... I always live dangerously.... and OK... constantly in trouble in some way or another.. I think I would be in more trouble though if I suggest a tupperware party, but don't believe in getting thrown straight onto Mrs HSV's fire.

I see that sjc's suggestion about a dance, is an owner specific suggestion, and as he is not currently an owner!!, and when his chauffeur for the day Andy (AGH) finds out i think he might put him right, or at least insist on a solo performance first.

P7VXR you've rumbled me, surprised no-one else spotted that! However if AGH wants to do a solo performance, who am I to stop him? (plays on words again).

As it will probably be raining, you could just bring the shampoo and wash it outside
