In case I read it wrong does it only make 450 rwhp from 8 lbs of boost? I['d have expected more. A stock engine makes 400 odd hp so say 350 at the tyres. So for just over half a bar of boost it only gains 25% additional power?

Power does sound rather low, but then with turbos, there is always so much potential....

No reason why such a setup with 8psi shouldnt be making over 500rwhp without a fuss though.

Ah the argument of dynos, which I don't really want to enter!!!
For info, my car with a cam in it makes 350rwhp about 255rwkw. Stock it was around 195rwkw on the dynos down here. With bolt ons 235rwkw (Tune exhaust and gears) around 310rwhp.
The larger cammed cars make around 280rwkw, Stroker 6.2 litre around 300rwkw, Turbo'ed cars around 340rwkw and upwards.
I think the 450rwhp would equate to around 340 to 350rwkw.

I think we read a little lower down here than elsewhere...ah damn I entered the argument......

It's a bit "pimp my ride" for me..


Lets hope that they have built that 700r4 correctly, as ive killed a few running just 7psi on my bone stock 350 chevy lump, power is estimated a little over 400 bhp.
