Traction control - OFF
Discussion
Buttons should be in this sequence...
Turn the ignition...wait for the thunder.
Turn the stereo on
Turn off the traction control, I drive around with it off all the time.
My tyres have lasted about 12k miles this time around, and I have only got a V6! It is becoming a very expensive service interval.

'05 Monaros have a more sophisticated TC system - linked in to the drive by wire throttle (?) than the '04. The '04 system is a bit crude - pushes the accelerator pedal back up! Drive my car with the TC off most of the time now, had it on most of the time at first. But for the size and power of the car, the Monaro has great traction and handling. Great fun. Still getting more out of the car even after 18 months and 20k miles.

The Racelogic T/C on my VT that I bought in Sep.2000, was not connected. I always just thought that it was a very "sporty" set up! When the dash came off to fix a speedo fault, LSV spotted the loose connection. The VT & VX have such fantastic traction even with big BHP. The E Class Merc. I drove recently was loosing traction repeatedly even in the dry.
Any one on here got the racelogic TC? Whats it like? A more refined version of the system on the VZ Monaros? Guess its essential for those cars with Superchargers
Since the bedford track day i've left the tyre pressures up a bit - around 36psi all round - seems to drive even better, steerings a bit lighter but it sill seems to grip fine! Its also cured the slight pull to the left that I had when new goodyear F1s went on
