I am looking to export a Monaro to Germany and need to some left-hand drive headlights. Does any one know where I can get some in the UK?

I doubt you will get any over here, try looking at Pontiac GTO's in the USA.

I think the Pontiac GTO's have the later VZ type headlights rather than the earlier Monaro type.

Thanks for this.

I have already found some Pontiac GTO lights on a US website at a good price but did not know whether they would be the same. I'll do some more investigating now that I know that they might be different.

Have a search on www.ls1gto.com if you haven't already. Look at the posts by some of the guys who have put Monaro front ends on their GTO's. I seem to remember it being discussed.

Halle,

Give me a part number and I'll check it with the LHD Monaros here in the Middle East.
I'm actually looking for a pair of the 2004-on headlights for my '02 car as they work a lot better.

Thanks again for all your help.

I am still in the process of buying the car and one of the dealers that I am talking to thinks that he can source some.

If I do end up doing it myself I will certainly drop Sid a line.

Cheers

If you don't want HSV/VXR than why not buy a Pontiac GTO?

How about a GTO from Canada...would be in kmh then.

Assuming they're done in Canada?

Am I right in thinking that you're going down the BFG route?

If so, you'll definitely need LH lights. The Storm Troopers who do the tests are v strict.
