So I pick up new co car - an 04 CV8 - and in passing to Brian mention that I'd like some more noise really. Actually , says he , we're looking for an 04 CV8 to fit a single exit exhaust i/o twin pipe so we'll use yours. Off I go working hard for a week. Get the call , cars all done , and we've added a few bits...

Blimey. I've no real idea whats been done to it , but the tubular headers and rasping intake noise coupled with a mellow but deep rumble gives an indication that its not std!

It absolutely flies , a V8 shouldn't rev this quick . It gives instant go with an alacrity that even the 6L can't come close too. Even the push in the upper gears is v impressive.

In a straightline its far quicker than a friends Evo 9 , and the chap in the XKR I dallied said he wished his went and sounded like the Monaro.

Single pipe looks great and the noise is a nice rumble but not intrusive as I clock up a few mway miles.

Great set up - whatever it is! - highly recommended. Fair to say tho that the brakes are now totally overwhelmed, so anyone looking to upgrade to similar power , book it in for VXR brakes as a minimum , or preferably full 4pot AP's.

Big thanks to Brian and Paul from Wortech top job, very impressed.

Stu
PS - even tho I've been wrapped up in Astra/Zafira/Vectra/ Meriva VXR stuff , you jut can't beat these big V8's!

How does the single exit system compare to the Wortec dual exit sound wise?
