Mind you it is hard to go beach fishing in a Monaro.
Where there's a will....
When I lived in Oz I was an avid surf fisherman; got the Coupe and "damn" no fold down panel in the back seat like my Clubby had!! Still managed to carefully get 2 x 12' surf rods & gear in the cabin though (broken down into their 6' sections of course!). Tip of the rod nudging the back window & handle resting just behind the gearstick.

Ah a 1991 VN SS... I had a 89 one.
Umm, I sold mine for $150 cause it was going to cost to much to fix the automatic transmission than what the car was worth, and was never going to see the money again, hence the VX. Had a slight problem with oil leaks, but hey, you keep filling it up, and the problem continues, but doesn't mean alot. Had rust develop under the rubber seals around the top of the boot. Engine was ok, although had to replace the welsh plugs twice, which was a bit of an expensive excercise.
