Well, I've just got home from picking my car up from Greens and the drive home was the best fun I've had for ages. With a grin as wide as the wall of china is long,I was laughing all the way home. It was a hoot..

The reason, I have now got the new LS2 Wortec Headers and Cats !!!

Oh boy, it is soooo hard to put it into words, I just dont know what to say, it sounds totally awesome, its unbeleivable. If you thought a Catback sounded sweet, believe me, you aint heard nuthin...

I even had to make a few detours (5 miles off my route) on the way home just to go through some tunnels to see what the difference was...Fekin' Hell... to refer back to a previous thread, Satan has most definately entered the engine..

When Vauxhall says "Monaro is here, Game Over" - Add a Wortec full system and add " IT IS NOW!!!"

So, to wrap up...

Standard VXR Exhaust - Nice
Wortec Catback - Sweeeeet
Full Wortec - Totally, TOTALLY, awesome

And finally, I would like to thank Brian, Jeff, Darren, Paul (Mr Wortec) and anyone else I've missed who was involved in the Pagan ritual for a totally wicked piece of kit... You guys are top of your game. (I am not worthy!!)

PS: Mose...That Mont Blanc is a deffo, mate...

Well done Boss, they look a great bit off kit looking foward to hearing them soon, so is the next mod on the horizon yet! Do you know what rear wheel hp gains you can expect from them?

I think the next mods are going to have to be on me... I'm gonna get some strange looks with this grin

But seriously, I think it would have to be suspension related bu I can live this what I've got for the moment, so there's no rush - Unless HSV UK bring something in that is...

As for the power, I'm trying to sort something out with John Thorney to re-run on his.. got some figures from his Dyno a few weeks ago so keeping to the same kit should provide a fairly comparable figure - Watch this space...

Any chance for some sound clips?

I've seen a black VXR in North Town (near Aldershot) with an amazing exhaust.......it crackles and pops like a good 'un......and that's when he's crusing at 30mph!

B055 VXR, having heard your car at the Guildford Cruise, I can only imagine what it sounds like now

Mose......That's twice I've seen you.....and both times I was in the North Town Kebab Shop. Maybe if I spent a little less on kebabs, I'd be able to afford a newer car

Thanks for the offer, I'll try and keep the 21st free

I'm not even going to rise to that one.... Doh! I just did! (Buy quicksilver because, as the name of the colour suggests, it is quicker!)

Chris,

Congrats on the new christening, cant wait to hear that mate, will also arrange to film a few drive bys when time allows.

TT.....I live on North Lane, so no doubt you will see me about from time to time. I also work just behind Racing Green TVR in Ash Vale (Lysons Avenue), so no doubt you might see me around there regully as well.

Drop me a line if you fancy a mini meet and cruise through Aldershot at some time

Hi Mose

I live on the Old Farm Place estate, so you probably drive past the entrance to the estate on your way to work (or do you avoid Lakeside Road and it's blimmin' speedhumps?).

Your car probably sounds better than most of the stuff in Racing Green (and they've got some tasty stuff, what with Jaguars, TVRs and now Moslers!!).

Edited to apologies for the thread hijack!

I was parked next to you at Greens friday. Fortunately Jeff warned me before starting your beast up, so I picked up my two year old. He still nearly jumped out of my arms when yours was fired up (probable not the right words to describe the sound that overwhelmed us, hope your neighbours are petrol heads).

The Moslers are a fantastic car for 0-70mph performance, but anything above that looks extremely disappointing from what I have seen. Yes Racing Green do have a few tasty cars if you like replica C types and excessively priced MK2 jags imported from New Zealand. The Monaro turns a few heads as I blip past everyday

Hey John..

Well..firstly Noise... I hope your neighbours are understanding... 'cause the decible increase is significant... but REAL nice... So far, I've got the from 3 out of my 7 neighbours

..and power... well, I dont really know, I'll let the Dyno do that, gonna get that done in the next two weeks, so watch this space.. but I will say that I have noticed the the engine does seem to be a lot more free revving.

Tell her indoors... "Shut up bi.." err, no, better not say that, maybe "Darling, the car will sound so much nicer and it'll scare the crap out of that cat the keeps crapping on our lawn"

GT @ Donington...Nah, it's me Mum's birthday

Hey BO55,

You have the loud straight through back boxes fitted or the (slightly) quieter ones..hard to believe it can be much louder ?? my neighbours have had years of Kawasaki's and Porsches just ignore us!!
As for the wife yep second suggestion much safer!!

Are you still running standard brakes?

Standard VXR brakes seem fine to me, no fade or warping, but I don't lean on them much

The middle boxes from the Catback system are currently sitting in my back bedroom, so I have the exhaust at "Max Volume"

Hi just got back in - under moderate / heavy braking from 110 / 120 the peddle feels progressively sponging and almost a rubbing feel coming back through the pedal - pads are newish I wonder if one of the disks is warped?

any ideas

Std feel from those speeds after a couple of runs john. The feel through the pedal is a std 'resonance' based on the grooves and pads contact. Nothing to worry about.
