Yup, that is mine outside my house... but is now the very much rejected Ex. Although decided to take it to work this week.

Mind you haven't been home very much this week.

Yeah, will be selling it, just need to get it uk registered, and get a mirror and skirt painted and that is it. Going to be sad to sell it though, cause still love it, just not quiet as much..

IMO that picture doesn't do the car any justice. In real life it looks fantastic & also sounds much better than you'd imagine it would. Very nice comfy cruiser, good luck with selling it Jas.

Actually use to think the Commodore was pretty loud. Man, after driving around the HSV for a couple of weeks, the Commodore now sounds like a pea shooter. Although, it is actually really amazing how much different it handles. Still love it though.

Getting new double din stereo into HSV on Thursday, which should be pretty cool. DVD Mp3 with a 6.5" screen. It's a JVC KDAVX-706, pretty amazing piece of kit. Plays MP3's from DVD, Divx, and is in 5.1. Bit pricey at £629, but atleast there will be lots of music on tap.

Hi Raggyman,

That is the exact same stereo I was looking at buying (although was looking at a region free import version). Are you using the US custom dashboard templete or a DIY surround ??

Any idea which steering controls adapter you are going to use ?? As looking at the stereo rear I originally hoped it had the remote connect socket but seems to be part of its A/V input instead.

Left me know how it goes as looks a brilliant piece of kit.

Cheers
Steven

Yeah, not sure yet. Haven't seen one in the flesh, so will find out on Thursday when it is fitted. Think it should fit fairly well. Haven't seen any photos of it in a Monaro or a commodore yet. Think you can get the controller for the steering wheel, but think that is gonna have to come from australia. Will wait and see though.

No, not taken by me. I tend to take blurs!

Photo was taken by a mate who lives in Jarrow I believe.
