I am interested in this, please lets keep it clean and don't lock this thread.
I'm sure a lot of people are interested in this and I hope to learn from peoples questions, comments and answers to this thread.

ok so im a total noob when it comes to understanding why upgraded fueling is or is not needed and what is a remap CD based?
This was posted before, it states 490bhp, I assume this is taking a cv8 with around 330bhp and adding 160bhp?

I would query the fact there are no fuel system mods listed. The standard injectors may just be capable, but I would be quite concerned about the standard fuel pump coping with that claimed power.

Aside from that, it sounds pretty good value..

Shame about that; the last one was getting quite amusing. Most times I've ever refreshed the screen on this forum. Ever.

Anyway, what kind of BHP could my (ex) car expect with this fitted? It currently has about 420-430. Seems an absolute bloody bargain! But I bet there's a catch somewhere

Happy to answer any questions on Tuesday folks!
Can confirm that cars standard fuel set-up will present no problems for this tried & tested system (5psi only).
WE WILL FIT AND MAP ALL OUR SUPERCHARGER KITS.
Reason for Aus versions being packaged with CD...most are sold direct to customers and gives and gives them a safe start point.
For the more power hungry among you, a full range of up-grades will be available @ LSV again at very keen prices!
6.0 litre kits from August.....
MEGA DEALS ON SINGLE TURBO KITS ALSO.....

Can't put prices, or may get told off!

Not wanting to sound like an old woman but what does this do for fuel economy. I have got the brakes past the finance committee for later in the year on safety grounds, but I do not even how to start with a supercharger.

Well, easy argument.

Supercharger = More powerful
More Powerful = Engine works less hard
Engine works less hard = Lower revs
Lower revs = BETTER FUEL CONSUMPTION

Of course in reality Supercharger = FASTER! but don't tell the wife

Think I have an upgraded and new version of wife. Everytime the loud pedal goes down, it's like, go... go.. go... even to the point where she is leaning forward to go faster. Don't think a supercharger is going to be a problem on the grounds that it is going to be faster, but mind you, don't think I really need any more power at the moment.... Will probably get to a stage when it doesn't seem fast enough anymore. Think then will be looking around for a couple of solid fuel rockets to strap on the back - could be a new market opening up there...

Someone did that in the States....

Strapped two rockets from the short takeoff & landing pods off a C130 Hurcules transport aircraft.

Suffice to say, the crash investigators found what was left of the brakes as they exploded around 200mph (must have had a change of heart!) and they reckon he was doing about 230mph when the car took off.

The only trouble with solid fuel rockets.......... Once ignited, you can't turn them off!!

As I understand it you will use more fuel to cover the same distance at the same speed because of the mechanical cost of the supercharger, but as GSI_Daz says Supercharger = FASTER

My 540+bhp S/charged HSV was more economical than my previous 380bhp N/A HSV, on a like for like basis. I can't explain why exactly, perhaps it was due to the better induction & exhaust systems, but I reckon I used to get between 1-4mpg more from the S/C car depending on the type of journey.
