I know there's a couple of bikers on here so for those who are interested, I just knocked 2500miles around Europe on the bike, including Route Napolean, Lake Como, Ducati factory, and some other top roads.

Be interested to hear from anyone else who has been along there.

PB - Still driving the blown blue oval..

Along with the TT, me & some mates do a trip to Europe every year (since 2000). Last year was our firsth trip to Italy & the Alps. Previously we have been in the P-Nees. Might do Italy again this September via Austria. The trips are always an adventure, we never book anywhere & often ride to avoid bad weather. Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Would be keen on going for a trip into Europe if anyone else is. I ride a GSXR1000 (usually with the wife onboard). Any other trips or events coming up?

Yep NAH, thats exactly what we do. Its the best way to run a trip. Plans and booking invariably go to sh!te anyway.
The hardest part is finding hotels that have a place to lock the bikes away in.

Try "Bike dash Stay dot com" I found the site about 2 months ago. It gives you places to stay all over the world with quite a lot in the UK and Europe that have somewhere to put your bike. I've used it and it works a treat.

Don't stay in the hotel just off the A7 motorway in Montelimar. Some thieving froggie had my Genesis away from there within 15 minutes of arriving when I was on the way to the Bol d'Or, and it was chained to an RC30, which was left untouched. The only consolation was that I got a hire car through the travel insurance and it rained the whole weekend.
