Man, what is going on here... this is absolutely crazy. Found out that you cannot claim more than once for No Claims Discount! Talk about a rip off!

Anyhow, insuring with A Plan - got a good price - £549 for the coupe, and £439 for the Commodore. Initially the price was pretty high, but told them to go away and come back with a better price.

Cancelling all other policies.

B055 - Mine is through A-Plan & the only real restriction is that it's garaged every night if it's within 1 mile radius of said garage - and that was £519 with £300 excess & limited to 6K miles.

MMmm... So, if you have a garage, you gotta use it when you come home.... doesn't apply to me anyway, don't have a garage

Yeah - that was a point I raised...it doesn't need to be garaged during the day! However, I'm glad to put it to 'bed' at night 'cos the garage is alarmed & the alarm in monitored. Peace-of-mind whilst I'm out here too, really!!

That's certainly get's your attention - I was under the assumption that increased premiums also covered the cost of the replacement upgraded parts - how wrong i was!!!

Admiral made it very clear that cost of modifcations not covered and the increase in premium was to cover the increased chance of a third party liabilty. If anyone has experience of Agreed Value insurance/insures I am sure we would all be intrested.
