FAO Caspy,
As you prob already know, I imported my VY2 Clubsport from Oz. I have recieved the note from HOLDEN regarding the side airbag recall, and was wondering if I could have this done by you and your crew - I realise there may be a prob as the car is Holden and you are Vauxhall.

All due respect and all that, wouldn't it better (and a hell of a lot quicker) to contact Greens direct?

For all the other owners out there who are taking their recalls to a 'local' monaro Dealer..... Make sure they order the required parts from Vauxhall before you set out!

I'm having an ongoing debate with my dealer and Vauxhall Customer Care. The parts were ordered 2 weeks ago and they still haven't arrived. Both the dealer and Vauxhall claim there are none in stock, and that they cannot be sourced from elsewhere in the dealer network.

How can they issue a recall notice and not have enough parts to cover it? It really beggars belief.

It's an 8-hour plus round trip for me to Monkfish and god knows how long to Greens, so they are not an option.

How can Vauxhall get away with treating customers like this?

Ah, I feel much better now that's off my chest.
