Its quite a long video. Though something is wrong with the car, I dont think it goes over 2000rpm and there is far too much traction. Still looks like it has good presence.

That looks awesome! I hope they don’t tame it down too much if they put it in to production.

Any idea what gas guzzler will be up front? Will they put the small block in it?

I think I might get one if it is reasonably priced and the engine isn’t too enormous.

IMHO I wouldn't expect anything less than the current LS2

By the time it goes into production, the LS1 will probably be a bit long in the tooth

As for the engine, a little birdy says

"The Camaro of 2008 has been speculated to contain an LS2. However, by then the LS2 will no longer exist! For its next freshen up the LS2 in the Corvette will be scrapped and replaced by the LS3. The LS3 is a 6.2L version of the LS2, but updated with VVT and DOD, more power etc. The highest level Camaro will use this engine when it is released and so will HSV! So, to cut to the chase for the 2008 model year, HSV will be employing a 6.2L LS3 V8 with the fuel efficiency/flexibility features of the L76, but with the high-performance characteristics of the LS2 and a larger capacity. To all who wondered how HSV would justify its higher asking price in terms of engiine spec., this is the answer. Unfortunately this engine will not be ready for VE, but can be expected within 2 years."

That is pants!!

Its American, looks american, sounds American.
I'm a Brit. driving an Auzzie car.
IMO you can stick it!
BTW where they get the Canary from - Green Peace?

I'll stick with the V8 i know and love.
Dont need any of these weird radar deflecting angles on my body work.

Also IMO styling not suited to UK roads.

Even the goddamns know - silver=faster

Black cars are like helicopters- they're so ugly, they can only get airborne bacause the earth repels them

Looks like it might be built in the Oshawa plant in Canada.

And with LS3 according to the same 'person in the know' in Oz.

Hi hsv rulz. Obviously something wrong with my driving style as I try not to get airborne, I think it may be difficult to change my vector in that state as my car lacks aeroplanes, rudder, flaps or anything that the CAA may consider necessary to qualify for flying.

Don't like the smiling grill.... reminds me of Cherie Blair.

The rest of it is OK (I suppose) for a Yank car.
