Making the aircon start more quickly
Discussion
That reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask for ever but always forget
(I'm very old you know).
Many years ago..........probably before Pontious was a Pilot.........I was told never to use aircon until an engine was warmed up and never to start an engine with it switched on. Was this good advice anyone?
From the fat bloke sweating in T'heat wiv me windows open
Edit to say..........apology for thread hijack BigNige but it might answer your question if there is a built-in delay for some reason?

Nah, can't see that as an issue Paul - my Scorpio is 8 years old and has 105,000 miles up and we've always run it like that and with the aircon all the time.
I suspect the Monaro is doing something like running up the compressor or chiller to a nice cold temperature before it's kicking in but I do think it could do it a bit quicker like.
