Spotted a few Holdens at Le Mans over the weekend...
Blue Ute (VE02 VOH)
Red HSV (V2 HSV)
Blue HSV
Odyssey Monaro with rear spoiler
The last 2 went tanking it past me on the journey home and I didn't catch the reg. (I was in a lil ol' MGA.)

Maybe one day we'll see an HSV in one of the GT categories. Surely it would be tough enough to go the distance!

I saw a red HSV beside the track on the downhill run to Tertre Rouge on the Sunday afternoon - looking good!

Also ran for a short while with a Champagne blue Ute on the journey back yesterday.

I'd love to see an HSV out there in the race, but I doubt it will happen. Bit of a disappointing race this year really - too easy for Audi and big disappointment over the Aston challenge failing late on again.

Oh well, my CV8 ran faultlessly there and back and we sank a few nice, cold lagers as well...

Hi Martin. Kept an eye open for your Monaro but unfortunately didn't see you. Glad to hear you had no problems with the car. Apart from overheating in the traffic outside Maison Blanche on the Friday, my mate's MGA behaved itself exceptionally well for a 45 year old car. Altogether another great weekend, now looking forward to taking my car in 2007!

Nice car Bob. We were taking a look around it down at Indy on Friday. Saw a few yank pick-ups over the weekend, but yours was the only Ute. You're right...great Le Mans car!

Silver VXR on the autoroute was me - I guess you saw me before Rouen as I had to limp home on my spacesaver for the last 200 miles :-(

Those VXR tyres are like rocking horse poo in France..!! The guys at the tyre depot loved the car though - don't think they are too common in France!!

Wills right! I was there with Paul (IACS) (who has a black HSV GTS-UK)

Greeny that Red HSV at Tetra Rouge was also me....blagged my way into track.
I saw a Silver VXR and had a chat to the guy, he was at technoparc as we were.

Also as I was leaving technoparc to join main road, a Silver CV8 gave a wave and blew horn...anyone on here?

cheers

Eric
