To save hijacking another thread I'll post a new one if thats ok.....
I saw a mention in another post about exhaust modding invalidating the warranty?
Has anyone ever had a problem getting warranty work done post exhaust mod?

Understand your concerns but can I suggest that you make a call to Brian (Caspy) at Greens and discuss the issue on a one to one basis with him?

He'll talk you through the whole issue.

Don't worry, I had quite extensive work done and Caspy (Greens) and Picadors did not have a problem with it.

Guys i am interested in the bottom line regarding warranty. I live in Milton Keynes (no jokes please) and my warranty work will be done by a standard VH garage (Crownhill)

There are a couple of things i would like done, one is the switch that reverses the Traction Control?

In every Vauxhall Service booklet it quotes;

If any modifications or conversions are carried out , any change made to the standard vehicle specification MAY cause the warranty offered by Vauxhall Motors Limited not to apply.

So any modification made to the car vs the warranty being claimed is assessed on each individual basis if we believe there is a dispute.

Personally , and this is a non prejudicial statement for Vauxhall , anyone who modifies their vehicle is accepting some form of risk vs the std product. Only you can assess that risk based on what or who the modifying company is by past reputation/experience.

Just to confirm, that was a response from Vauxhall from last year when warranty question was asked.
