Brake pad life with APs

Got the full 6/4 pot AP upgrade on my CV8, what sort of mileage can I expect from the pads? I drive, er, shall we say "spiritedly" but also cover a lot of motorway mileage.

The first car I fitted AP's to is still on orignal pads at 30k!!

The second is 21k.

Current pads circa 20% worn at 6500miles. (very spirited driving)

All cars are running DS2500 pads.

What about discs brian, or is that a daft question??

Roughly about 12k per set of front pads & double for the rear, covered about 35k on original discs & been on about 4 track days plus some spirited driving.

Have yet to see a set of discs get changed, but based on a 30k plus on set of pads, i imagine pretty long life.

normally you can have hard pads that last ages but knacker the disks, soft pads that wear out but dont wear the disks - but these sound like miracle breaks that never wear out in terms of disks or pads!!

Iv"e hade aps for about 18months now. And have driven fairly hard for 15500miles and still got 10mm of pad on the fronts. A very good investment.
