Rear parcel shelf

Anyone removed theirs from a Monaro? Was invesigating getting rear windows tinted and guy explained I'd need the brake light etc removed and that would probably involve removing the parcel shelf and that might only be possible by removing the rear seats!! Is there a quick and easy way of getting in to remove the light etc. Btw was quoted 120 quid for the window tinting on the rear quarters and rear screen. Not sure how much the thermal film will help with it being a black car but worth a try at that price to protect the leather in the rear.

Oh quick one for the Aussies on here - film installer guy reckoned you started this whole craze for tinted windows and that for years all the best guys in the UK at installing this stuff came over from Oz to make a few quid.

Mine cost £75 cash and they did remove the rear seats... makes the work space a lot easier for them.

As far as I remember, the seats just pop in and out, cant even remember them screwing them back in.

Don't know if they took the pacel shelf out though
