Well what can I say, I had a fantastic weekend and one I will remember for a long time to come! Firstly thanks to Sean (Le Sarthe) for driving my dad and I around everywhere and also for finding such a fantastic hotel. Secondly I would like to thank Chris (BO55 VXR) firstly for the mammoth task of organising and coordinating everyone and also for giving me a ride in his beast of a car! Monkfish also need to be thanked for providing fantastic bacon butties and for a very enjoyable cruise down to Santa Pod. I've probably forgotten a lot of people so if you can think of anyone else please add as you see fit!

Great day out. Big thanks to Chris & everyone at Vauxhall
Hope you didn't find the tour through the Peak District too stomach churning Bigwheel (by the way, it was PCV8, Swordfish left earlier. That's the trouble with Oddyssy ones - they all look the same !!)
Raggyman - thanks for the Aussie Rock CD. I can't remember who you said it was by - I keep thinking you said Powder Puff, but that can't be right can it ?

Just adding my thanks as well. It was a great day out and really nice to see so many Monaro's and see what a great bunch you all are. That's probably a years 'spotted' quota for me now.
Really sunburned neck, nose, arms etc. I'll remember to pack sun cream next time (That'll jinx the day and cause it to rain).

Well, 1600 miles and I'm at Burghead in Morayshire after a really enjoyable weekend. Big big thanks to Chris and Vauxhall for their organisational skills
. Thanks too to all who attended the event and allowed me to put faces to HSV log in names. Now I must go and pick up the wife tomorrow morning and head south again to Glasgow for a 2 week break to get over all the travelling and excitement!!!

Sorry for the late reply.
Yes, thats to all involved, really nice meeting everyone.
I was/am really concerned about the mad drive through the Cat & Fiddle route but nice playing with the car a little (most impressed with Beast).
Raggyman your car sounds great down those narrow lanes.
I am kicking myself with not meeting more of the HSV drivers in the nice supercharged one.
Cheers

3. Monkfish for their breakfast buns on the Saturday morning (especially the chef)
4. LSV for bringing bargain goodies along to Donnington (nice shiny new VXR rear lights and all Holden badged up now)
5. Everyone else for making it a great weekend
