WORTEC Exhaust PING!

Thought I would post this up for some advice more than anything tbh.

Over the last 1000m or so and after turning the ignition off, I am getting a "PING" from the two rear tips. Sounds just like they are being hit with a single stone or something. It is a completly differnt sound to how yyou would expect the exhaust to sound when they are colling down. This is a definate and fairly loud ping.

Any ideas??

Do you have the silencers fitted?

If not, maybe one of your annoyed neighbours has an air rifle?

Nope no silencers........but that is exactly what it sounds like, as if it was being hit at high speed with something

Its probably the metal 'shrinking' back to normal size because the massive heat will probably cause them to expand

Dan, have already ruled that out mate, this is a NEW and different sound altogether. Have been used to the shrinking sound for the last 10 months or so.
