As I understand it, future winners of the Bathurst 1000 will now take home the Peter Brock Trophy. I heard from my brother this morning too that along with his state funeral will be a national public holiday (a one-off I think). Anyone know anymore about this?



HSV FAN - At the Targa West Dinner, Brock'c Co-driver Mick Hone made a very poignant speech and in-car footage from in Brock's car of their penultimate stage was played with the Mid Night Oil song "King Of the Mountain" as the soundtrack.

The names Mt. Panorama and Brock to be forever linked, a very fitting tribute to a great man - he will be sadly missed.
