G'day,

if yer on the grog and fairly adrians then the strine comes fair dinkum....does dinkum have two nn's? I'm just out of the billabong...!

if my strines not so grouse, but I think its worth the skite.

if not I'll ave a slab of VB and squib off to the homestead and give a true blue a squinz at the yack

One of the most alarming differences in the language is the use of the word thong. Imagine my horror when discussing pool wear, when an Aussie mate mentioned he's be wearing thongs eek

Seems that's what they call flip-flops.

If anyone puts "shrimp" and "barbie" in the same sentence on this thread, Ill kill 'em.
