Supercharger Economy

OK, now that ther are several superchargers out there for the LS1 and LS2, and ranging anywher from £2.5k to £5k.....is this affordable immediately by the majority of HSV/Monaro owners who would love the upgrade.

I'm sure for a few her that it will be immediaely affordable and for quite a few of us will be affordable soon, once the more essential goodies have been added to the car.

But surely ther has to be a cheaper alternative in the interim? I think this might surfice for the short term and it is a relatively cheap mod/upgrade. Snap on Supercharger finally here and it sounds the absolute bollox.
