Finally got them done (well two out of three so far) and Picador edged out Monkfish to do the work (in no small part to having done the previous work and an excellent deal).
So probably the best mods so far fitted to the car are....the 3.9 differential and the AVO adjustable suspension package (Racelogic on its way).
The diff really makes the car ballistic and coupled with the suspension upgrade changes the car totally to something that feels really secure underneath. I always felt the standard set up could go away from you whereas now the car feels totally planted to the road (and having driven a VXR its also much better than the VXR set up too). You feel the quality of the roads a little bit more but worth the sacrifice for the quality of the feel.
The change in acceleration for the diff is really dramatic, down to third and hit the gas and there is real possibility of wheelspin as is the change from 3rd to 4th (and the car pulls very quick to red line in 4th).
Have to say its a totally different car now and you guys should be queueing up outside Picador's/Monkfish/Greens to have it done
if you have not had it done already.

Suspension upgrade is a definate improvement, but I guess it depends on how its setup... I've got to find out how mine's set up because mine's setup "like caspy's"
All I know is the front arch sits at 26" - dunno what a standard car is...
Fortunately, it's one queue that I don't have to stand in....

6th - not used much but I played with 5th and that pulls strongly from low revs too.
Suspension is set up as the guys at Wortec recommend I believe which is at the rear 50% lock to lock (as in midway) and the front is the same then 25% back to the left. They say the Monaro is best set up this way. Springs front and rear appear set up to give lower ride height but without any fowling.
Am thinking I may alter if carrying the family but once I am used to it.....
Have now dumped the spare wheel (as the CV8 one does not fit over the AP brakes) and got the Astra VXR alternative of a compressor - the VXR spare wheel costs new £495 so if anyone has one going cheap let me know but that is silly money.
