New 'type' of tyres that are supposed to be close to being released very soon.

Can't up pictures up but if you google it I am sure someone could post.

Don't like them myself but hey the future is the future

Would you want these on your Monaro is they ever got a 'Z' rating

If they work then I imagine they will be standard fitment on cars in 5-10 years time. blow outs, punctures and spare wheels a thing of the past.

They have been around in prototype stage for a couple of years. Interesting concept and it may indeed happen, it won't be soon though, I don't think.

I have Goodyear runflats on my Vette, with pressure sensors etc. When flat its virtually impossible to tell somethings wrong, except for the sensors warning. They are very hard and noisy, and i will probably replace them with conventional tyres when they wear out. I wonder how these new ones compare? hard to imagine they could be worse!!
