Pay £20K off the mortgage, buy a Holden and throw a 427 LSx engine in it, then use the saved mortage repayments to spend on fuel

I'd develop my TR8 soft top, blown Darton 427 or bigger capacity, thunderbird 8.8" back axle, 11x17's, rear 'A'Frame, front wishbones, 330mm brembos and kick some really truly expensive arse into touch

I'd invest the remaining £30k on development

Boosted.

Buying tomorrow and if I was paying the bills? RS4 or one of the last NSX'S.
Someone else paying the bills? would have to be a 550 (drove one today still thinking about it!).
If it was in 18 months time? would have to be an AMV8 (sat in one today and REFUSED myself a test drive 'cos I know what would have happened!)

There was one at Brands on Monday and it was flying.

The guy would literally just throw it into bends and you could watch the car sort itself out and get on with it.
Amazingly quick for such a big beast.

Sorry to tell you the RS200 is probably the worst Group B car to drive on the road and nowhere near as quick as you think. The Metro 6R4 is the best, and certainly the best engine soundtrack IMHO

SJC Andy you know you want a GTS-R with a charger and AP's and coilovers!!! it makes sense.
I'm a third of the way there . Once the honeymoon is over and paid for (I'm in Thailand on honeymoon at this moment) charger and suspension is on the shopping list especially if prices keep going the way they are cue LSV/Monkfish to come up with a deal....LOL
The wife ...(cor got to get used to that one) is a push over caus she has a heavy foot and likes the power.biglaugh

If not the above then an old blown AUDI 80 UR QUATTRO with mild tweaks by the boys at DIALYNX performance round the corner from me and spend the rest to clear sum of mortgage.
Give me an old car that catches the porsches and ferraris off guard!!!!

Cheers for now
