I was disappointed not to be able to make Silverstone today, as I got back from OS this morning. However missing Silverstone was made up for by finding the Monaro back in the driveway post the Coupe4 bodykit installed. After fitting the Coupe4 wheels I had to go out and take some photos...

More proof that Yellow is the best colour

That is gorgeous. The Yellow really does compliment a bodykit and those flared wheel arches look the biz. Your car will be a real show stealer when you get out and about to upcoming events and daresay will be a bit of a show stopper.

I'm only aiming for a boot lip spoiler (still waiting to hear from LSV re that) and VXR wheels as a bodykit and paint job will break the bank after perfomrnace mods.

Top effort, that's a great looking boykit. There's a thin line between tasteful and OTT and that treads it very carefully.

I can only imagine how good that would look in black hehe

Top man Harry,
Not only have you done some unique mods for a UK car but it looks like a factory finished car in a great colour(if the VXR was only available in yellow) hope to see it in the flesh some time.

The body kit is a genuine HSV Coupe4 Kit.........and the wheels are also from the Coupe4.
"harryoz" are the rear wheels the correct size or did you use a set of fronts? also what are the plans for the right hand exhaust?

some pics of the Coupe4 in the UK

For those who want a little background on the Coupe4 there is a video on the HSV Drivers Club Site in the video section

Rear wheels are 19x9s and the fronts are 19x8s (as per the stock Coupe4). Went this route because I wanted to fit wider wheels/rubber in the rear and this was the best "factory" option. Rubber on the rear is now 275/30/19 and fronts are 235/35/19. The rears fit really well, although they could do with spacing out 1/2 an inch and the fronts aren't bad either but could probably do with up to an inch spacing out (for cosmetic reasons only, they dont catch on anything as is).

Only other thing it needs is to be lowered some. Inspiration comes from this picture I found, looks sensational (wrong colour though)

Exhaust is a tough one as I want to run a twin system but there is zero space with the fuel tank in the way. I wont do anything at the moment until after the new engine goes in and I work out what exhaust to run with it. I figure I need a twin 3in exhaust to match the new engine but dont know how its going to fit to get it out the back. Perhaps side exits are an option in which case I will "fill" both exhaust gaps at the rear.
