Took the Monaro down to a local rolling road day today and resulting power run was:-

294bhp - 315lb/ft (at the wheels)

We ran her up in 3rd and managed 290, so did a run in 4th to get the above...

Just wondering how she compares with others that have run - Mar '06 5.7 (book 354)

In hindsight I should have whapped in a tank of decent fuel, instead of the cheapo gear she ran on today

If that is at the wheels then that is a great result.

Transmission losses of ~60bhp for the transmission and ~30bhp for the tyres translates in to just over 400bhp at the flywheel

I think its a Dynomet or something.

You sure its at the wheels ? Darrens result defo cant be at the wheels.

Ya should have had SUL in it !!!!!

Fuel defo makes a big difference....I wont even say how slow a certain black car went on the 1/4 about a year ago on UL lol...

I thought their roller gave the power and torque at the wheels Stevie, I may be wrong though - their printouts are more basic than junior lego so no clues from that either...

Actually the more I think about it - it must be the flywheel as my old CDTI150 Astra running the map similar to 888's was just under 200. More of a slap on the forehead for running it on Mexican unleaded
