Thats shot me down in flames then. Was looking at the SC at the next service but if the above is true then have to give it a miss. Damn car attracts enough slow cars as it is............

Well thanks to samjdalton uploaded this video... I now know I do not want a supercharger. That whine would drive me up the wall! I am sure it is 'spoon bendingly fast' but for every day I think it would get on my nerves.

The Vortec supercharger does not whine, to be honest it sounds like you have the fan on all the time, when 'givin it some' the noise goes away

I can hear the whine most of time time... Was the video not a Wortec? Anyway, I think the best thing to do is speak nicely to someone and go for a ride myself!
