Can't believe it...I can no longer access Pistonheads at work, I guess due to our internet polizei!
Fortunately I can still access (for the moment amyway!) this forum via hsv.org.uk, but I still cannot post as the login is via P'heads!!

We have the same policy at my place, but fortunately for me, I work in IT and can...errr...circumvent the restrictions

I think there is another backdoor. I beleive Ted was working on a worksafe alternative url although this conversation was quite some time ago.

Also your IT team may well run scripted software that records the places you visit and then checks them against an allowable database. If this is the case then it won't be long before they find the alternative and block that. My mobile phone now gives me free airtime so I can hook up my laptop to it if need be. Maybe that's an alternative?

Thanks SS, I'll mention it on the Website Feedback forum and see if Ted has any news.
Else....guess I'll just have to start working for a living!
