VXR 500

Drove over to Greens of Holborough yesterday so a friend could check out the Monaro VXR 500, what a car!!!!! we were tken out in their demo car, think it belongs to the boss? and as soon as he started the car the deal was done.........he is collecting it at the end of nov, with uprated brakes, rip shift and sports exhaust, in black mmmmmm what a car and what a noise!!!!!!

though it would be a good car, didnt realise how just how good it is!!!! truly stunning engine and just loved those pops and bangs on the over run..............will get him to sign up with pics asap

All i can say is brill car mate, absolutely love the exhaust, tho the gunmetal grey monaro in the workshop runs it close on the noise stakes!!

staff were brillint to, nice chatting to salesman who arent tossers!!!!!! haha

hi, yea he went ahead and bought it, prob the easiest sale they have ever had, what do you think of the ripshift? you really need to get the vxr500, awesome awesome awesome!!!!! jourey back to bexhill in the mx-5 didnt quite seem the same

Yeah much better, mind you nearly hit the curb leaving, must tame that right foot.

what kind of power will you be looking at with the turbo??

not sure exactly as monkfish are just finishing it off, within the next two weeks. Think it will be over 565. I want incar adjustable boost (more money too i think) so should be able to hit the 600+ mark. Will have to wait and see as with the price. Just not sure what to do, supercharger is £5k, nos is £3k (150hp shot, twin bottles, remote openers, bottle heaters, digital programmer, purge, etc - fitted plus i will have to fill the damn bottles - 8 port direct not a single shot in the airbox.) and turbo maybe about £7k.
